NIA declares Rs 10 lakh each on two accused in VHP leader’s murder case
New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh each for the two accused in the murder of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Vikas Prabhakar in Punjab.
Harjit Singh alias Laddi, a resident of Garh Padhana in Nawanshahr, and Kulbir Singh alias Sidhu, a resident of Yamuna Nagar in Haryana, are absconding in the case, the NIA said.
On April 13 this year, Vikas Prabhakar was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne assailants at his shop in Rupnagar.
The two assailants entered the baga confectionery shop at Rupnagar railway station and opened fire and fled.
