NIA hands over probe into attacks on Indian missions in US and Canada

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe into the attacks by pro-Khalistan activists on Indian missions in the US and Canada in March. Earlier in March this year, the NIA was also handed over to the NIA in the incidents of violent protests and attempted vandalism outside the Indian High Commission in London. Sources said the Special Cell of Delhi Police had registered cases under the UAPA in connection with the attacks in March. It said the investigation into the attacks in the US and Canada has now been handed over to the NIA.
