No alliance between AAP, Congress over seat-sharing in Haryana
New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party will contest the Assembly elections alone in Haryana. AAP’s release of a list of 20 candidates has made it clear that it will not have an alliance with the Congress.
Earlier, Haryana AAP leader Sushil Gupta had said that if the talks between the two parties do not end even today, the AAP will announce its candidates for all the 90 assembly constituencies. The reason for the alliance between the two parties not coming to an end is the distribution of seats. The AAP was demanding 10 seats from the Congress.
The AAP was demanding 10 seats from the Congress. The Congress, on the other hand, was adamant on giving only five seats.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its first list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections, signalling the end of alliance talks with the Congress. The list includes Anurag Dhanda, who is contesting from Kalait in Kaithal district.
