No restriction on offering namaz in Sambhal, says police

New Delhi: The police on Wednesday clarified that there is no restriction on offering namaz in Sambhal, but a ban has been imposed on gatherings on rooftops to prevent accidents.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Suresh Chandra shared this information while speaking to reporters.

Chandra said an adequate police force has been deployed across sectors and zones to ensure peaceful prayers.

The clarification comes after a peace committee meeting where concerns were raised about some people offering namaz on rooftops.
