Paris Olympics 2024: ‘Pistol Queen’ Manu Bhaker creates history, first shooter to achieve such feat in 124 years
New Delhi: Indian shooter Manu Bhaker made history on the fourth day of the Paris Olympics 2024. Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
Earlier, Manu Bhaker created history by winning the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event. With this achievement, Manu has added another medal to India’s tally.
In today’s bronze medal match, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh secured the victory to claim the bronze medal. Manu has become the first Indian athlete to win two medals in the same Olympics in history.
Previously, no Indian had achieved such a feat at the Olympics. Although Sushil Kumar and PV Sindhu have each won two Olympic medals, these were not won at the same Games.
