People of Haryana created history by making BJP win: PM Modi
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the BJP has registered an unprecedented victory in the Haryana Assembly polls as the party is set to form the government for the third consecutive term and the people of the state have created history with this victory.
Addressing party workers at the BJP headquarters here after the results of the Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, the Prime Minister said the party’s victory in Haryana was the result of the hard work of the party workers.
He said elections were held peacefully in Jammu and Kashmir after decades and it was a victory for the Constitution and democracy of India. With this, the people of Haryana have done wonders and for the third time in Haryana, the lotus has bloomed. He said the BJP has secured the highest vote share in the Jammu and Kashmir elections.
Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that for the first time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the process of voting in Jammu and Kashmir was completed peacefully.
Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir.
