People want MP Amritpal Singh to be released from jail, says father
New Delhi: Khalistan sympathiser Amritpal Singh was sworn in as a Lok Sabha MP on Friday. Amritpal was brought to Delhi from Assam’s Dibrugarh jail to administer the oath. For this, strict security arrangements were made.
According to the information received, Amritpal Singh was first brought to the airport amid tight security in the early hours of Friday.
After meeting the family, MP Amritpal Singh has been sent to Dibrugarh jail. Father Tarsem Singh said that Amritpal Singh thanked the supporters and said that people want him to be released from the jail so that he can fulfill his duties as MP and work for the betterment of his constituency people.
He said that Amritpal Singh conveyed messages to his supporters that he is thankful to all for the support.
