Punjab E News: Pakistan, which is facing economic challenges, has imposed a new fee for pilgrims coming to visit Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib. This has raised fingers against the Pakistan government’s promise of free darshan.
From now on, foreign pilgrims going to Kartarpur will have to buy tickets by paying a fee of five dollars or Rs 1500 to visit Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib. There have been sharp reactions to this decision of the Pakistan government.
Especially since Pakistan is already charging a fee of $20 from Indian pilgrims to visit Gurdwara Kartarpur through the corridor.
No additional fee will be charged for the sangat going from India for darshan through the corridor built between Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, Pakistan and Dera Baba Nanak, India, the land touched by the feet of the first Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
