PM Modi celebrates Diwali with Army, BSF personnel in Gujarat’s Kutch

Ahmedabad: Continuing his tradition of celebrating Diwali with the armed forces and other security forces at the borders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today celebrated the festival of Diwali with the personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF), Indian Army, Navy and Air Force in the Sir Creek area of Kutch in Gujarat.

Prime Minister Modi reached out to the soldiers stationed at this remote and challenging border place with the message of festive joy.

He was seen offering sweets to the jawans while participating in the celebrations at Lucky Nallah near Sir Creek.

On this occasion, he said, “It is my good fortune that I am celebrating the festival of Diwali in the land of Kutch amidst the forces of the country, with the jawans of the Border Security Force. The sweetness of my Diwali increases manifold when I celebrate the festival of Diwali with you.

“This time this Diwali is also very special because Lord Ram in Ayodhya has re-entered his magnificent temple after 500 years.”
