PM Modi discusses tech cooperation with Elon Musk, highlights India-US partnership

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Elon Musk on Friday, focusing on strengthening cooperation in technology and innovation between India and the United States.

In a post on X, Modi said, “The topics that we put forward during our meeting in Washington, D.C., earlier this year were the main points of this conversation. We discussed the immense potential for cooperation in the areas of technology and innovation. India is committed to advancing its partnership with the US in these areas.”

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is regarded as a key influencer in the US administration under Donald Trump.

He currently heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), tasked with reducing government spending and downsizing the federal workforce.
