PM Modi files nomination papers from Varanasi
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers for the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday. This marks his third nomination from this constituency, having been elected for the first time in 2014.
For those aspiring to contest Lok Sabha elections, candidates must submit Form 2A, which consists of six parts. In the first part, the candidate must furnish the name of the parliamentary constituency, their own name, the name of their father, along with their address. Furthermore, they need to provide information about the assembly constituency they are registered in as a voter and the parliamentary constituency to which that area belongs.
