PM Modi meets Google CEO Sundar Pichai at AI Action Summit in Paris

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Google CEO Sundar Pichai on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit in Paris, where they discussed the opportunities that artificial intelligence presents for India.

Sundar Pichai shared pictures of the meeting on ‘X’ and wrote, “It was a great pleasure to meet Prime Minister @narendramodi today in Paris for the AI Action Summit. We discussed the opportunities that AI will bring to India and ways to work together on India’s digital transformation.”

The last meeting between Modi and Pichai was in September 2024 in New York.

During the summit, Modi stated that AI is transforming politics, economy, security, and society, adding, “We are at the beginning of the AI era that will shape the path of humanity.”
