PM Modi, others pay tributes to Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tributes to revolutionary freedom fighter Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary. The UP Deputy Chief Minister and other leaders have also paid tributes to Shaheed-e-Azam.

In a post in Hindi on social media platform X, Modi said, “Lakhs of tributes to Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh, who laid down his life for the honour and honour of the motherland, on his birth anniversary.”

Shaheed Bhagat Singh was born in 1907 and was hanged and martyred by the British government at the age of 23 along with Shaheed Rajguru and Sukhdev in the Central Jail of Lahore.
