PM Modi pays tribute to Sahibzadas on Veer Bal Diwas, highlights their sacrifice

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid homage to the Sahibzadas on the occasion of ‘Veer Bal Diwas,’ honoring their bravery and sacrifice. In a post on social media platform X, he remarked on the Sahibzadas’ unwavering commitment to their beliefs and principles at a very young age.

“The sacrifice of the Sahibzadas is a great example of bravery and commitment to values. Today, on Veer Bal Diwas, we remember their indomitable courage and also salute the bravery of Mata Gujri Ji and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji,” the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Modi is set to participate in the nationwide Veer Bal Diwas celebrations at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, where he will also launch the Suposhit Gram Panchayat Abhiyan. Children who have received the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award will be present at the event.

On January 9, 2022, Prime Minister Modi announced that December 26 would be observed as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ in honor of the Sahibzadas’ unparalleled sacrifice and dedication.
