‘PM Modi will retire next year, now he is seeking votes for Amit Shah,’ says Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said after getting released from jail addressed the people here on Saturday.
During his speech he said, “I am very happy to return to all of you. Together, we have to save our country from dictatorship.” He said, “I will fight with all my strength; I seek the support of the 140 crore people of the country.”
Attacking the BJP, CM Kejriwal questioned, “Who will be your Prime Minister?” He elaborated, “You might assume that Narendra Modi will continue as the PM, but no, Modi is turning 75 next year.” PM Modi himself instituted a rule within the BJP stipulating his retirement at the age of 75.
Kejriwal further said, “First, LK Advani retired, and then Murli Manohar Joshi retired.”
Kejriwal speculated, “If the BJP government is formed in such a scenario, then Home Minister Amit Shah could potentially become the Prime Minister of the country.”
