Punjab farmers will not march to Delhi, will stay on Haryana border; to halt trains on March 10

New Delhi: Farmers from Punjab who are stationed at the Shambhu and Khanauri borders will no longer march to Delhi for various demands, including the legal guarantee of MSP. Instead, they will remain stationed at the Haryana border.

However, farmer organizations have issued an appeal to farmers from other states to converge in Delhi on March 6. Additionally, farmers will halt train services from 12 noon to 4 pm across the country on March 10.

Farmer leaders Jagjit Singh Dallewal and Sarwan Singh Pandher said that farmers from Khanauri and Shambhu borders of Punjab are being prevented from advancing by the Haryana government. Consequently, on March 6, farmers from other states will travel to Delhi via buses and trains.

At Jantar Mantar, farmers will stage protests against the government for their demands, while farmers from Punjab will continue their protest at the Shambhu and Khanauri borders, advocating for their demands. This move aims to bolster the strength of the movement by increasing the number of protesting farmers at these locations.
