Rahul Gandhi slams government, says ‘real development is when everyone progress’

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government for its economic policies, accusing it of favoring corporates over common citizens.

In a post on his ‘X’ account, Gandhi questioned whether hardworking citizens are receiving their fair share of the nation’s wealth.

Gandhi highlighted key issues plaguing the economy, starting with a decline in the manufacturing sector.

He said that the sector’s contribution to the economy is at its lowest in 60 years, leading to dwindling employment opportunities and struggles for the youth.

He also raised concerns over the farming sector, alleging that the government’s policies have failed farmers and agricultural laborers, leaving them struggling to make ends meet.

The Congress leader’s remarks come amidst ongoing debates over the government’s economic direction and its impact on various sectors of the population.
