Railways runs special trains for devotees visiting Radha Soami Satsang in Beas
New Delhi: The Railway Department has introduced two special trains to accommodate the growing number of devotees visiting the Radha Soami Satsang Dera in Beas, Punjab.
A special train will operate from Saharsa to Amritsar Festival Station, while another will run between Beas and Jalandhar City.
Train number 05507 will depart from Saharsa at 7 pm on March 16 and reach Amritsar at 2:20 pm on March 17. The return train, number 05508, will leave Amritsar at 4 am on March 18, arriving in Saharsa at 11:45 am on March 19.
The train will halt at key stations, including Amritsar, Beas, Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur, Gorakhpur, Chhapra, Hajipur, and Saharsa.
In response to the increasing rush, a local train service has also been introduced between Jalandhar City and Beas. Train number 04610, an unreserved special train, will run between Beas and Jalandhar City on March 16, 23, and 30.
It will depart from Jalandhar at 12:50 pm and reach Beas at 1:35 pm, halting at Dhilwan, Hamira, Kartarpur, and Suranussi stations.
