Rajasthan Royals defeat Chennai Super Kings by six runs in IPL match

New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals secured a six-run victory over Chennai Super Kings in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match today. Batting first, Rajasthan posted 182/9 in 20 overs, with Nitish Rana top-scoring with 81 runs.

Riyan Parag added 37, while Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer contributed 20 and 19 runs, respectively.

For Chennai, Khaleel Ahmed, Noor Ahmed, and Matheesh Pathirana took two wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja claimed one.

In response, Chennai managed 176/6, falling short despite Ruturaj Gaikwad’s 63. Rahul Tripathi and Shivam Dube chipped in with 23 and 18 runs. Rajasthan’s Wanindu Hasaranga led the bowling attack with four wickets, while Jofra Archer and Sandeep Sharma took one each.

Nitish Rana was named player of the match for his all-round performance.
