Rajya Sabha bypolls: Union Minister Ravneet Bittu to be BJP’s candidate from Rajasthan
New Delhi: The BJP has announced nine candidates for the September 3 Rajya Sabha by-election. Union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has been fielded from Rajasthan and George Kurien from Madhya Pradesh.
The party has fielded former BJD leader Mamata Mohanta from Odisha and former Congress leader Kiran Chaudhary from Haryana. Both these leaders have recently joined the BJP.
According to the rest of the list, Manan Kumar Mishra has been fielded from Bihar, Dhairyashil Patil from Maharashtra and Rajib Bhattacharjee from Tripura.
