Ratan Tata to be cremated with state honours; One-day mourning declared in Maharashtra

Mumbai: The mortal remains of country’s leading industrialist Ratan Tata were taken from his home in a vehicle decorated in white flowers to the NCPA (National Centre for the Performing Arts) in south Mumbai on Thursday morning so that people can pay their last respects to him.

A large number of people, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, other central and state leaders, politicians, Bollywood stars, industrialists, businessmen-businessmen and social and religious personalities, paid floral tributes to him on the occasion.
