‘Ready to answer questions through video conferencing after March 12’: Kejriwal to ED
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has responded to the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) latest summons related to the excise policy case, saying he is ready to appear before the agency through video conferencing after March 12.
The Enforcement Directorate had earlier issued several summons to Kejriwal but he termed them as illegal and he did not appear before the central agency.
He had told the agency that the Enforcement Directorate should wait for the court’s decision in the case before issuing summons.
According to sources, the Chief Minister reiterated that the summons were “illegal” but he was still ready to answer the probe agency’s queries. Kejriwal is also scheduled to appear before the court on March 16.
