‘Rise above politics, work on solution’, President urges opposition amid ruckus in Parliament
New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu said that those who leaked the paper will not be forgiven and the culprits of these incidents will be given the strictest punishment. President Droupadi Murmu said on the NEET paper leak case that the government is fully committed to investigate the recent incidents of paper leak and punish the culprits.
Addressing a joint sitting of both houses of Parliament for the first time in the 18th Lok Sabha, Murmu said her government should enable the youth of the country to dream big and realise them.
While she was talking about the steps taken by the government on the education front, some opposition members raised slogans over alleged irregularities in NEET.
“If exams are disrupted for some reason, it is not right. Transparency in government recruitments and examinations is very important.”
She said the government was committed to conduct an impartial probe into the recent incidents of paper leak and give the strictest punishment to the culprits.
