Robbery at Tanishq showroom, jewellery worth Rs 25 crore looted

Jalandhar: A gang of 8-10 armed criminals looted jewellery worth Rs 25 crore from a Tanishq showroom in Bihar’s Ara in broad daylight, creating panic in the area.

The robbers held the showroom staff hostage for 30 minutes before escaping with bags full of jewellery. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

Following the robbery, police encountered the suspects near Babura on the Ara-Chhapra main road.

Two of the criminals were injured in the exchange of fire and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
