Roof collapse in Ambala kills couple and their 12-year-old son

Ambala: A tragic incident occurred in Haryana’s Ambala on Wednesday afternoon when the roof of a house collapsed, killing a couple and their 12-year-old son. The victims were identified as Noor Mohammad, his wife, and their son.

The incident took place around 3:30 pm while the family was having dinner. Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud noise, following which neighbours rushed to the scene and found the roof had caved in, burying all three inside.

Local residents immediately informed the police, who arrived at the spot and transported the victims to the civil hospital. However, all three succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Their bodies have been sent to the mortuary for post-mortem.

Officials from the concerned department also reached the site to assess the situation. The cause of the collapse is yet to be determined.
