Saif Ali Khan discharged from hospital after knife attack

Mumbai: Actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital following a five-day stay after being injured in a knife attack at his Bandra apartment in the early hours of January 16.

The attack left Saif with deep wounds, requiring emergency surgery. He was moved from the ICU to a special room on January 17 before being discharged.

Mumbai Police have arrested a suspect, Shariful Islam Shahzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national, in connection with the case.

The suspect, apprehended in Thane, is in police custody until January 24.
