Saif Ali Khan’s medical report reveals five stab wounds, read full report

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed five times during a burglary attempt at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Injuries were reported on his back, wrist, neck, shoulder, and elbow, according to his medical report.

The attack occurred during the early hours when the alleged assailant, Sariful Islam—an illegal immigrant from Bangladesh using the alias Bijoy Das—broke into the house to commit theft.

Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in an autorickshaw by his friend, Afsar Zaidi, at 4:11 am. The injuries measured between 0.5 cm and 15 cm in length.

The Mumbai Police arrested the suspect on Saturday from Thane after a three-day search involving 20 teams.

Following the attack, temporary police security has been deployed outside Saif’s Bandra residence, Satguru Sharan Bhawan.

Two constables are stationed in shifts, and additional security measures, including CCTV cameras and window grills, have been implemented.

Saif Ali Khan, 54, has appeared in over 70 films and TV serials. He was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and is recovering at home.
