Punjab News: The Supreme Court will hear today the Punjab government’s plea against the delay in giving assent to certain bills passed by the Punjab Assembly by Governor Banwarilal Purohit.
A bench of Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Justices J.B. Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra will hear the matter today. The petition has sought directions to the Governor to pass the pending bills by the Punjab government.
