Sensex falls over 6,000 points, Nifty slips over 2,000 points

New Delhi: Today, on June 4, the stock market opened with a heavy fall amid the early trends of the Lok Sabha elections. Today both Sensex and Nifty are open on the red mark.

The Sensex fell more than 1600 points to open at 76,285.78 level. At the same time, the NSE Nifty fell more than 500 points to open at 23,179.50.

In early trading, around 9:30, the Sensex fell by 2,116.16 points, or 2.77%, due to which it was trading at 22,603.05 level.

At the same time, the Nifty fell 660.85 points (2.84%) to 22,603.05. In early trading today, the Sensex was at a low of 73,659.29 and the Nifty fell to 22,389.85.
