Set back to INDIA bloc, Farooq Abdullah announces to contest elections alone
Srinagar: The INDIA alliance has suffered another major setback in Jammu and Kashmir. National Conference chief and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has decided to contest all five Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir alone.
According to a news agency, Farooq Abdullah has stated that the party will contest alone on all seats.
In comparison, after Nitish Kumar in Bihar, Jayant Chaudhary in UP, and Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, Farooq Abdullah has also announced his decision to contest elections independently.
