Several injured in clash between two groups after Eid prayers in Nuh

Gurugram: More than five people were injured in a clash between two factions of the same sect in Nuh’s Tirwada village on Monday morning, police said. The violence, which occurred around 9 am, was reportedly triggered by an old enmity between the groups led by Rashid and Sajid.

According to officials, the altercation began when members of one faction, returning home after offering Eid prayers at an Eidgah, got into an argument with individuals from the rival group.

The confrontation soon escalated into a physical fight, with both sides attacking each other with sticks.

Following the incident, police teams from multiple stations were deployed to the village to restore order. A police force remains stationed in the area to maintain peace, officials said.
