Shiromani Akali Dal to contest SGPC polls in Delhi, Punjab
Punjab E News: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Delhi state has announced to contest the upcoming SGPC elections. Party patron and Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DSGMC) president Harmeet Singh Kalka said his organisation will field candidates for the SGPC polls in Punjab.
Delhi Committee president Harmeet Singh Kalka appealed to the Sikhs that the registration of voters for the SGPC elections is being held from October 21 to November 15 and all voters above 21 years of age with Gursikhi form must cast their votes.
Therefore, maximum votes should be made. The Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi State will contest these elections in alliance with its like-minded parties. If there is no consensus with anyone, then the party will field its candidates on all the seats.
