‘Stop taking orders directly from LG’: Kejriwal directs government officials
New Delhi: The confrontation between Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena is increasing. Ministers in the Kejriwal government on Friday directed officials to stop taking orders from LG Saxena.
All the ministers directed their respective department secretaries to strictly follow the Transaction of Business Rules (TBR). He also asked the secretaries to report to the minister regarding any direct order received from LG Saxena.
The Kejriwal government’s ministers said that implementing such unconstitutional direct orders of Lieutenant Governor Saxena is a violation of Rule 57 of TBR. Also, any order given by lg is not in accordance with the Constitution and the directions of the Supreme Court.
