Strong winds disrupt flights at Srinagar airport, 19 cancelled

New Delhi: Several flights were cancelled at Srinagar airport due to strong winds on Thursday, officials said. A total of 19 flights were cancelled, while two were diverted to other airports. Many other flights were delayed.

Strong winds lashed most parts of the Valley over the last 24 hours, affecting normal life and damaging several vehicles in some areas, officials added.
