Sudden rain and darkness bring relief from heat wave in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: A sudden change in weather brought much-needed relief to residents of Chandigarh on Wednesday as darkness descended over the city around 4 pm, followed by heavy rainfall.

Earlier in the day, Chandigarh had been reeling under a heat wave, which disrupted normal life. However, the weather took a dramatic turn in the evening as clouds gathered and the sky darkened by 5 pm.

Soon after, heavy rain lashed the city, bringing down temperatures and offering respite from the scorching heat.

Many residents were seen stepping out to enjoy the rain, with the cooler weather lifting the mood across the city.
