Swati Maliwal assault case: Supreme Court issues notice to Delhi Police

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has issued notice to the Delhi Police on a plea filed by Bibhav Kumar, an aide of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accused of assaulting AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, challenging the Delhi High Court order denying him bail.

The Supreme Court says that the charge sheet should be placed before it for investigation. The apex court posted the matter for hearing on August 7.
