T20 World Cup: India beat Australia by 24 runs, to face England in semi-finals

New Delhi: After captain Rohit Sharma’s stormy half-century, the bowlers led by Arshdeep Singh performed brilliantly as India defeated Australia by 24 runs in the Super Eight stage Group One match of the ICC T20 World Cup and made it to the semi-finals with a third consecutive win.

India topped all three of their Super Eight with six points and will take on England in the semi-finals on June 27. Australia, Afghanistan and Bangladesh still have a chance to qualify for the last four from Group 1.
