T20 World Cup: India beat Bangladesh by 50 runs
New Delhi: India defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs in a Super Eight match of the T20 World Cup today. Bangladesh won the toss and invited India to bat first.
India scored 196 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs. During this, Hardik Pandya scored 50 runs.
They shared a 53-run partnership with Shivam Dube and a 35-run partnership with Axar Patel. Apart from this, the rest of the batsmen contributed 25 to 30 runs.
On the other hand, chasing a target of 197 runs, Bangladesh’s players could not stand in front of the Indian bowlers and could score only 146 runs with the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.
