Teacher arrested for raping 3-year-old girl in Bhopal

New Delhi: A 28-year-old teacher of a private school here has been arrested for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl, police said on Sunday. The girl’s mother approached the police on Monday after the school management allegedly ignored the complaint, Deputy Commissioner of Police Priyanka Shukla said.

The girl is three years and seven months old, the police official said. Acting on the complaint, the police visited the school to get information and arrested computer teacher Qasim Rehan.

According to the child’s mother, she reached the school after seeing injury marks in her daughter’s private parts and complained, but the management ignored her complaint, the official said.
