Techie Atul Subhash suicide case: Bengaluru police arrest wife, mother, and brother

Bengaluru: In connection with the suicide of engineer Atul Subhash, Bengaluru police have arrested three individuals, including his wife, Nikita Singhania, and his family members. Police confirmed the arrests on Sunday.

Nikita was detained in Gurugram, Haryana, while Subhash’s mother, Nisha Singhania, and brother, Anurag Singhania, were apprehended in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The trio has been charged with abetting the suicide, a Bengaluru police official stated.

The accused were brought to Bengaluru on Sunday morning and presented before a local court, which remanded them in judicial custody for 14 days.

Meanwhile, a senior Prayagraj police officer claimed that Bengaluru police failed to inform local authorities about the arrests of Nisha and Anurag Singhania.

The investigation is ongoing.
