Terrorism by Pakistan a planned war strategy, says PM Modi in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that terrorism supported by Pakistan is not a hidden war but a deliberate war strategy, and India will respond accordingly.
Speaking at the Urban Development Programme of the Gujarat government, Modi referred to Operation Sindoor and said Pakistan is waging war through terrorism.
“We cannot call it a hidden war because the terrorists killed on the night of May 6 (in India’s strike on terror launch pads in Pakistan) were given state honours in Pakistan. Their coffins were wrapped in Pakistani flags and their army saluted them,” he said.
“This proves that these terrorist activities are not just a hidden war but part of their planned war strategy,” Modi added, asserting that India would respond as necessary if war is imposed.
He further said that whenever there had been a war between India and Pakistan, the Indian armed forces had decisively defeated Pakistan.
“They may have realised that they can never win a direct war against India, which is why they turned to a hidden war and provided military training and support to terrorists,” he said.
