Three shot dead at restaurant near Morni in suspected conspiracy

Panchkula: Three youths, including a 20-year-old woman, were shot dead at a restaurant near Burj Kotian village on the road to Morni late Sunday night, police said. The victims were identified as Vicky (31), his nephew Vanit (28), and Nia (20).

The trio had reportedly come to the restaurant to attend a birthday party.

According to police, the incident occurred around 3:30 am when two individuals arrived in a black vehicle and fired over half a dozen bullets in the restaurant’s parking lot, hitting the victims.

The injured were rushed to Government Hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, where they were declared brought dead.

Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants fled the scene in their vehicle after the shooting. Police suspect the attack was the result of an old conspiracy.
