Uttarakhand: Seven people, including three members of a family, killed in rain-related incidents
Dehradun: Seven persons, including three members of a family, were killed and seven others injured in heavy rains in Uttarakhand since last night, police said on Sunday. Due to the rain, houses collapsed in many places and areas were flooded. The water level in several rivers in the state has risen. Four persons are missing in rain-related incidents in Dehradun, Haldwani and Chamoli.

According to officials, teams of NDRF and SDRF have been deployed along with the administration in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dhami visited the Disaster Management Centre this morning to take stock of the situation in the state and directed the officials to remain alert. Schools and anganwadi centres up to Class 12 have been closed in Dehradun and several other districts.
