Vinesh Phogat’s disqualification issue raises in Parliament, Sports Minister calls for action

New Delhi: The issue of disqualification of Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat also echoed in Parliament ahead of the Paris Olympics final. According to Sports Minister Mandaviya, the Prime Minister has asked PT Usha to take appropriate action in the matter.

The Sports Minister said that the government has given all possible help to Vinesh Phogat.

Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya further said that Vinesh became the first woman wrestler to reach the final by winning three matches on Tuesday. The Government of India provided all possible assistance to Vinesh Phogat. Private staff was also appointed for her, who are experts in their field. Hungary’s famous coaches and physios are always with her.
