Vistadome coaches to run between Kalka-Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, Toy train to have rotating chairs; read other features

Chandigarh: The toy train running on the World Heritage Shimla-Kalka track will be seen in a new look in the new year. Passengers will be able to enjoy the journey of the vistadome (transparent) coach train.

30 new Vistadome coaches are being manufactured at Kapurthala Rail Coach Factory, whose work is in the final stages. Officials said that some Vistadome coaches will be ready by the end of December. In the new year, people visiting Shimla will enjoy the journey in vistadome coach.
The windows and ceilings of the Vistadome coach are made entirely of glass. The windows of the coaches are transparent. These coaches also have steel railings, which makes them look even more beautiful.
The journey will be comfortable for passengers
The vistadome coach will have a comfortable journey for children to adults. Because, there will be a lot of space between the seats installed in the vistadome, so that passengers do not have any problem during the journey. Passengers will also be able to rotate the seats around. In such a situation, passengers will not be forced to sit in the same direction.
