Waqf Amendment Bill, 2024 tabled in Lok Sabha

New Delhi: Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju tabled the Waqf Amendment Bill, 2024, in the Lok Sabha for discussion after Question Hour.

Speaker Om Birla has allocated eight hours for the debate, with 4 hours and 40 minutes given to the NDA and the remaining time to the opposition.

The bill is expected to be discussed and put to a vote later today.
