West Bengal government invites protesting doctors for talks

Kolkata: The West Bengal government has called the protesting doctors to discuss the tension arising out of the rape and murder of a woman doctor at the RG Kar Hospital here.

The government has asked them to attend the meeting to be held at the state secretariat at 6 pm on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, the protesting junior doctors had sent an e-mail to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee seeking time to discuss the tension.
