Who is Kulwinder Kaur, who slapped Kangana Ranaut: Kapurthala resident, mother of two children, read
Chandigarh: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who was elected as an MP from Himachal, was reportedly slapped by a female CISF employee. The incident occurred when Kangana was on her way to Delhi from Chandigarh airport on Thursday.
Subsequently, the female employee was taken into custody. It is being reported that the employee was angry about Kangana’s statements on farmers.
The CISF employee has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur, and she is a resident of Kapurthala in Punjab. Kulwinder Kaur was married about seven years ago in Jammu. Her husband is also in the CISF.
Kulwinder has two children. Her daughter is 6 years old, and her son is 5 years old. She has been posted in Chandigarh for two and a half years.
Sher Singh, the brother of the employee, said that the family learned about the incident through the news. “We have not been informed by her. We can’t say anything until we talk to her,” he said. Sher added that there is nothing wrong with supporting the farmers’ movement.
“Farmers are fighting for the country. I myself am associated with the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee. Kulwinder is younger than me. She has been serving for 16 years and has previously been posted in Kerala, Chennai, and Amritsar. She never appeared angry,” he said.
