‘Will cancel passport, visa’: Haryana government threatens protesting farmers
New Delhi: The Haryana Police has decided to cancel the passports and visas of the protesters involved in the alleged violence during the farmers’ ongoing agitation in Delhi and those who damaged public properties at the Punjab-Haryana border.
“We will request the ministry and the consulate to cancel their visas and passports,” DSP Ambala Joginder Sharma said. Their photograph, name and address will be given to the passport office.
“We are working on cancelling their passports. We have identified those who came to Haryana from Punjab involved in the violence in the name of farmers’ protest. We have identified them with CCTV cameras and drone cameras.”
