Women’s T20 Cricket: India reach Asia Cup final for 9th time; Beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets
New Delhi: The Indian women’s cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the semi-finals of the T20 Asia Cup and the Indian team reached the final for the ninth time. For India, Smriti Mandhana scored 55 off 39 balls while Shafali Verma scored 26 off 28 balls.
Batting first, Bangladesh scored 80 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted twenty overs, while India achieved the winning target in 11 overs without losing any wicket.
Shortly after this match, the second semi-final match will be played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, in which the winning team will play the final against India.
